Timeless waves lap the golden shore where some play in tumbling foam while others watch on.

The ocean demands respect, misguided commands fears. Fear contagiously seeps down generations, and without national or regional swim programs, understandably so.

To ride the waves here is a magical thing. No crowds, warm waters, tropical backdrop. The only way to beat this expereince is to do so in the knowledge that purely by being here, one of those eager onlookers will get to surf too.

Events

Our inaugural Leoncitos event happening this summer and we plan to continue offering surf, skate, and arts and crafts to local kids when dry season returns.

We were prepared for 250 local kids, offering surfing, skateboarding, football, adventure games, horseriding and lots of healthy food. Here’s some photos from the event.


Swim Program

Everyone should be able to enjoy the silky warm ocean that surrounds this beautiful country, especially the locals. However, many Ticos can’t le to swim as there is very few publis swimming pools around and there is a ancestral mindset of water danger. Before many can even think about surfing they need to become proficent swimmers.
